Oh and I nearly forgot to mention that Tiger's "Health insurance"
ONLY COVERS 75%of the medical cost. That's everything from treatment to medicine.
Keep in mind you might end up one day with surgery costing 100K SGD and you'll have to find 25K SGD.
This was a real deal breaker for me. Might as well not be covered. With a medical plan like that I end up having to buy my own insurance.
An airline skimping on it's medical plan isn't a smart thing to do in my eyes, as it doesn't take much for us to be grounded due medical issues. We're not much good stuck on terra firma.
