One strength of a true LCC is the ability to react rapidly and not get locked into large projects until very late in piece.
Yep they can open and close bases as they wish and its tough luck for the staff.
Just ask the J* guys that get/got forced moved. Great family life. Note to people in this scenario:
1. Gather experience.
2. Leave.
Flying is great but not

I'd rather go and get a trade than work under those conditions.
