330 Sim Eval

The 330 sim eval was pretty straightforward. As a NTR or zero flight time guy, the profile is set. Use whatever procedures you are familiar with - I used straight Airbus procedures. Ground procedures are normal - start, taxi and takeoff from ICN. Fly SID and then get some vectors (hand flying - do some turns, etc getting comfortable with the a/c). First approach is visual. Second is Non-precision VOR 33R. You'll start out high (7000') and have to work to get down and stabilized. My evaluator briefed us on configuration altitudes, and to use selected approach vice fully managed. Next was v1 cut and s.e. ils. Last item was rejected taeoff and evacuation. There are questions that can be asked - when will you cross XX latitude or longitude for example - to see if you are familiar with some of the specifics of this FMGC. They may also ask ecam/qrh questions as you accomplish the procedures. As always, there are some good IP's and some not so good. Hope for the former. Good Luck.
