You cannot just grab any old C210 handbook and think you can jump into any old C210 and fly it (plus any owner in their right mind wont let you). You will need to have the exact model POH in which you intend to fly. The C210 model range probably have the greatest number of changes off all aircraft ever built. I dont know of any other aircraft type that has so many different characteristics. There are numerous different types of engines, speeds, weights, seating arrangements and hydraulic systems used.
And as MakeItHappenCaptain said, the C210 IS NOT A RATING OR TYPE ENDORSEMENT.
Having said that, they are not that hard to fly well and any competant CPL holder should be able to grab the correct model POH, and fly it safely.
