Struggling Wataniya names John Morgan as CCO

Kuwaiti carrier Wataniya Airways has appointed John Morgan as its chief commercial officer.
Wataniya, which has recently been forced to slash its fleet and network in the face of tough local competition, says it appointed Morgan to drive future growth.
Morgan began his career in 1988 with British Airways, where he served as regional business manager and was promoted to general manager for business sales.
He also served BMI as director of sales and marketing. Most recently, he worked as senior vice-president Europe Middle East and Africa at the former Eos Airlines, and as vice-president overseeing commercial activities for Royal Jet in Abu Dhabi.
Morgan has held senior marketing, sales and commercial positions in various airlines worldwide.
