Dear Phileas

See OP's pax analysis. In 15 Years time, like many regional former airfields, with the exeption of MAN - the area will be given over to essential housing for two major cities Brum and COV.

Remember developement is the outcome of economic decisions, there's no right or wrong in this - The facility was not developed during the critical years of the '70's and '80's to accomodate long haul traffic. It's now "Take the Train - Ditch the plane" for Europe. -

Perhaps this will prove best in the long run and yes part of me is still a reggie spotter - but remember those hospitals, roads and schools.

Edit: Referring to one month's pax was unfair, but the underlying trend is downward - EMA has a place as a freight Hub: Again an ecomomic role developed through spending and a favourable location.
