Helen49, aparantly the owners at the time (Hawker Siddeley?) only reluctantly allowed commercial traffic anyway. I believe the Autair route to Jersey was their most profitable service at the time. I will try and find the article and post it on here at some point.
It did hit the owners of Cappa Pass at the time, as they were not permitted to fly their business aircraft in after that!
