The manufacturer (i.e. the documentation) does not claim that it is any faster, but looking at the picture above, you can see that we were doing 143 KIAS at 9,000 feet in level flight.
Typical cruise TAS on the flight from Vancouver Island to here (at this moment, Greece) has been 170 knots. At altitudes above FL 100, cruise power has to be reduced to avoid exceeding the Vmo.
