Hi there.

This is the short answer, but basically with a CPL you would have to do it all again, the only thing that would count is your flying time. Exams, skill tests, ratings, and medical all have to be done anew.

It is much easier if you already have an ATPL. In that case some/most of the written exams are waived and I believe there is only one practical test to pass. Can't recall the exact rules though.

As for finding a job, it comes down to right place + right time as with everything, but with less than say 500 hr multicrew you're not exactly in a privileged position.
