Sorry ssflyer, BCN is just one of many city destinations that are not served from BHX. It was last done by bmibaby I think they stopped in June this year. Depending on where you live, there are flights avilable from BRS, LTN, LPL and (I think?) MAN - these are all airports us Brummies have to regularly use to catch a direct flight into Europe!!
As for FR well with their track record at BHX anything is possible, they may well continue GRO, they might start BCN (OK thats a long shot) but in reality they will probably do neither - how long is a piece of string?
