Turkish Airlines will be scheduling flights to Dhaka starting from 26th December. Looks like Emirates will have some competition to serve the biggest Bangladeshi population outside London.
According to the Express India article, Air India's flights from Birmingham will resume.

The Emirates management was interviewed this morning on Radio WM, they confirmed that Birmingham airport will have regular A380 flight once BHX have permission from CAA. The Airport company has been in discussions with the CAA seeking permission for the Airport to handle scheduled A380 operations.
