ideally would like a gig on the east coast, or at least near civilisaion

. Hate to say it, but 450hrs is still absolutely stuff all. Your best chances would be something like a scenic/charter company in the sticks. Maybe something in Darwin if you're lucky. Still a long way to go yet with your hours.
