The operating life of an aeroplane is not defined by any "limitation," but rather by maintaining airworthiness. It consists of regulated maintenance and compliance with Manufacturers' Airworthiness Directives.

I have flown Boeing airframes with 100,000 hours. . . .

And many old timer DC-3s are still to be seen.
