Why is it so quiet here?

Hi guys,

Its too quiet in here. Let me post my experience to keep the thread alive!

I started on my self sponsored CPL training with SFC in april 2009. Did ground school for the tech papers and ATPL for 6 months in seletar (I thought Engineering was tough!). After that went to perth for the real flying. Flying in perth is great fun. I especially enjoyed flying the twin engine baron. Tough but fun flying! It is a phase in my life I will never forget. The flying took me about 9.5 months. It could be faster if I had not taken my time.

I have completed my self-sponsored CPL nearly 2 months ago and am back in singapore looking for a job. From what I know the last 6 or 7 guys who were back since half a year ago haven't found flying jobs. However I also know of guys before that being taken by local operators.

Any lobangs from well meaning guys are most welcome!
