I spoke to Casey at 2pm today ( I know they finish at 3pm). he was very pleasant, and advised me that they were waiting on the application being processed by HR. As and when they are passed back to him and his team, the applicant are phoned with a decision.
He said that not being contacted yet is neither a definite yes or no, just that they haven't got through them all yet.
I asked about the further interviews that were being done next week. He said they are for type rated candidates, and have no effect on the non type rated applicants. Quite how that can be true, I'm not sure, but I'll take him at his word, until proven otherwise.
He wouldn't be drawn on a timescale for a decision, as he is aware that other deadlines have come and gone.
Even though I'm sure he is sick of getting phonecalls from people like me, he was very pleasant. I guess we'll just have to have a bit more patience.
