Those Cougar pilots were between a big rock and a really hard place. How many of us can say with absolute certainty that we would have done any differently?
Actually FH1100 I believe they were between a rock and a survivable ditching. North Sea ditching experience over the last 30 years shows that to be true. It's a shame they chose the rock.
