Saw recently that Eastern are now offering connections to the NCL Emirates flight to Dubai, presumably after discussions between T3 & EK. Wonder if it will take away business from the EK GLA flight. Cost/time of travelling by road/rail to GLA v cost/time of flying down to NCL to link up with the EK service there.
The announcement by Bristow offering their services in the renewables sector I do find interesting. Looks like Bristow think there is mileage in the sector, but just how much remains to be seen. Maintenance, construction & hook-up may need manpower, but whether renewables ever measures up to the oil industry in its heyday is the great unknown. I suppose it's a bit like the early days in the oil industry - no-one knew what the demand would be for sure.
Will be interesting to see whether CHC Scotia & Bond follow their lead!
