It would be very difficult to overload the MD11 without anyone noticing as the weights are displayed on the panel along with the CofG.
Not sure what panel you are referring to, but, it would be very easy to overload an MD11 without anyone noticing if someone wanted to. Has to do with the power of the pen, or data entry skills of the person creating the load sheet.
