American Airlines
We are now in the silly season where US Airlines are about to announce their 2011 plans and this year is no different to others.
Another forum states that the first significant AA/BA/IB route announcement will be made of Wednesday 6th October.
There is some debate whether it will the much rumoured new BA service to the USA from LHR or new AA routes from Chicago or New York.
The Chicago rumour involves services to BHX, GLA, Berlin and Oslo.
The rumours are from the US side and not the UK.
BHX & GLA have been rumoured for both JFK & ORD but ORD seems to be the one mentioned this time round. Another rumour has Oslo -JFK was objected to by BA due to the number of transits carried and Berlin would not be until the new airport opens.
GLA, BHX & Oslo I believe would be on the 757.
Certainly could do with some good news.
