OltonPete, cheers for the detailed reply ! Was thinking to use KUN again, so bit of a pity. It's a little worrying indicator for the Midlands actually, as immigrants tend to go to economically strong regions (and fill the FR or EZY flights there). Or maybe BHX fees were just a little high. I guess FR could be gone again from BHX on the long run.
What a contrast to LH (and even BE), I think the 7:00, 13:00 and 18:30 to FRA have been there forever unchanged.
I also don't like FR's 2-per-week-flights these days, I mean how flexible are people really. Sure, you can sometimes combine them one-way with e.g. LTN or EMA, but still.
