No airline has morals. They will only ever do what the market forces them to do. Or if the workforce is unionised, then collective bargaining will also work to the employees advantage.
As jet2 isn't yet unionised, that would suggest it's the market that is forcing jet2 to improve the offers being made to it's crews for next year. And that is good news for everyone, whether employed by jet2 or not, as it suggests that pilots are slowly becoming in demand once again.
