This is not obvious to people in the UK, but people in the area will be aware: Compare HHN-STN on Ryanair with LUX-LCY on Cityjet. Similar catchment area. If you don't mind the F50 (I do prefer a Q400), with the new German air-tax, it's not that far off anymore price-wise, esp booked weekends 2-4 weeks in advance. Remember: No Stansted Express, just Oystercard Zone 3. Sure, Cityjet is more comparable to FlyBE. They have free food though. Cityjet has more civilised flying times, I think Ryanair is neglecting the HHN-STN route, which is unwise. Also LUX is a very pretty new terminal, could be one of the winners of the German air tax.
