Sorry for my naive question but is there some "über"computer checking in real time that all sensor readings are within reasonable value respective to each other, and provide a clear ECAM message if not ? If agree that it was very difficult to diagnose the AoA sensor problem alone, but when compared with the great many inputs from other systems I would venture to say that the crew might have been warned in an unequivocal manner...
