The current scheduled arrival and departure times of the EK A380 coincide with times of the day when 23L/05R is closed. So except when it is running late it will always use 23R/05L unless that runway is closed for repairs/aircraft blocking it etc.

If they are on 23's, 23L (runway 'two') is always the preferred runway for take off, even during the runway two closure period. I believe it's something to do with jetblast and the Airport Pub from J1.
