This subject is running elsewhere here but I think it's fair to say that we won't see SP Ops in Airlines for a loooooooooooooong time yet!
And as for having min cabin crew on duty as per Regs then having one go to the pointy end to save the day there by leaving the cabin with not enough F/A's due regs could easily be rectified by leaving the cockpit door open therefore making the cabin & cockpit as one

I can see it now. A320 in crz. F/A responds to ATC req's to trk dct to xxx to resume the star then min speed to fit in with the rest of the planes. She sets up the arrival as per the Co Ops. Then she goes into the perf page activates App then configs the plane making sure the LS is selected & hard tuned. Changes freq & alt's as req'd (all in managed of coure) as she goes making sure she doen't exceed F speed/s completes chk list A/P off at say 100 ft retard at say 30 ft checks ROD touches down smoothly selects full rev,makes sure Splrs, Auto brk & decel all good & comes to a stop & applies PB, yep easy peezy & all done after serving 180 bogans coffee!!!
