Should HelenGrad successfully block the QF purchase into ANZ then I personally will be very pleased, the last thing ANZ deserves is further financial security.
This is ironic as despite my well founded ill towards my former employer (or so they called themselves for a time) even blind freddy can see there is a strong buisness case for an ANZ/QF partnership.
Unfortunately, it would appear that once again small airline syndrome will win through and ANZ will stave off the evil rat in yet another vain attempt to become more than just a regional carrier with a bit of international flag waving.
Something in me wants to say that I hope they do reject QF and that QF stomps them into obllivion, or better still, takes them over and then unceremoniously dumps them into administration, but maybe I had better keep that to myself...............
