Sam: Palmair don't own their current aircraft (G-PJPJ). It is actually chartered from Astreus (
GINFO Search Results | Aircraft Register | Safety Regulation). All 'Palmair' flights are officially AEU flight numbers.
I'm not sure about the particulars of the lease, and PJ seems to be exclusively used by Palmair. However I'm fairly certain the crew are employed by Palmair/Bath Travel. A pretty expensive way to do it.
Whatever
PR BOH spout, the loss of Palmair throughout the winter is hugely significant. The loss of FR and Palmair combined with the normal winter drop-off in traffic is going to leave the place deserted. Also; BOH shows only 11 scheduled departures tomorrow, which is the height of the summer: Its not very far until you hit zero.
A daily BE MAN, and a few ski/lapland charters will make for a bit of a sorry sight I think.
