Qatar Airways B777
Qatar Airways has just started the process of inviting both Boeing and Airbus for additional capacity.
Aircraft in discussion are the B777-200IGW, B777-200LR and the A340-500.
The sales campaign is for 3 firm + 2 options. This could change to 6 firm and 2 options as the study is finalised.
The year 2002 and 2003 is forecasted to see an increase of over 35% for QTR.
The CEO is in favor of the B777, but not his UK advisors!!!!
