I agree. Line pilots not being able to obtain paper copies of a very important manual is a disgrace. As Black Cloud says, the accountants have duck-shoved responsibility, time and cost onto the employees regarding access to the Operations Manual. As much as paper amendments are a nuisance, the physical process of doing them ensures that changes are generally readily apparent. And with a paper manual one can make notes and highlight information.
