Good points actually. It reminds me of a thread I planned to start last time I was bored, but I forgot about it. Being into gadgets and similar is only one reason to fly. The other main one, as I see it (since it was mine
), is being like a bird, up there away from everyone, slipping the surly bonds of earth and all that. Followed closely, for me, by being in control
There are probably lots of other reasons too.
