it's always difficult to judge a group. as expected in any skills-based environment, there are MPL cadets who performed better than the typical 1500-hour CPL holder, while others were lagging behind. however from an airline point of view, it's difficult to ignore that the MPL cadets already have A320 type rating, which undoubtedly costs a lot.
Having said that i think PAL Av cadets still have the edge as the MPL requires a total shift in pilot training, something which frankly PAL Training pilots don't want to embrace at this point. if they wanted to, they would have taken MPL guys a long time ago. for me, i do hope the PAL Av guys can get in first as some have been waiting for so long.
