Just for info, every summer I fly to windy, short (1400 meters) and visual-based approach airports (sometimes with turns on short final, Kai Tak style) on small islands in the mediterranean sea with the 737.
This is not intended to be a complaint to your post; it's just to say we don't always fly to ILS, 3000 meters long runways.
I wish good luck to all the guys over there who are looking for a job and hope this ugly period will pass soon.
