The newest name for our BA cadet friends is "The Collective" aka the Borg.
I'm at Oxford and know a lot of the BA cadets that are there and almost without exception they take this nick name in good humour and are thoroughly nice people!
Anyway back to why I was posting in the first place. I was at Farnborough last Friday and got talking to the guys on the BA stand and was told whilst in isolated conversation by a "nameless" FO that "He wouldnt be surprised if BA advertise for DEPs before the end of the year".
I know this is:
a. Unsubstantiated
b. Not really anything to do with the cadet scheme
But I thought that it is of rumour type interest to all of us.
