"OC" how could it not! A doz Japs on board all with cameras flashing away as we orbit the CBD at night coming home from the Is. still lingers in my mind
. Despite telling them that a flash is useless they had a ball anyway. Mostly film cameras back then so getting back to Jap land to find a whole lot of bright spotted pix would have been devastating for them:-) Mostly honeymooners, sh1t to spend yr honeymoon in a Dove...............yeah well I guess marriage itself is just as risky
Funny story. One night whilst flying around in circles over the CBD dodging many others 'Duck Run' planes I had a young Jap girl up front beside me she leaned right over across me (not entirely unliked I might add
) & took a flash pretty much right next to my face,happened in an instant. I found out that the dove flies itself for quite some time with no input from the now 'startled rabbit' faced pilot!!!!!
