Suggest you read any training bond carefully Before signing. If it doesnt mention 150 percent you are not liable, A solicitors letter will sort that one. If it doesnt mention prorate be careful cos you can fight it and very likely will win. if you serve 2 years out of 5 for example its totally unreasonable to ask someone to stump up the full amount if they want to leave for better things. The practical point is if you can just go off then go off. If not refuse to pay and let them get told by the courts its not reasonable in due course, I doubt it would go that far. The idea of this type of Bond is to try and stop people going off too quick. Its worse in my current Company and frankly People will leave whatever, Management should try to figure out Why they are leaving instead of acting like Pakuda.
