Couple of factoids here gang. ref the EMB170 and LCY its part of the Swiss launch deal that the type has to be LCY capable no LCY no deal For those that don't need the steep app short field there's the 175 which has the same capacity as the CRJ900.
Ref BEs CRJ200s they got em for AF additional routes didn't get the routes so wanted to bin em then Gill went tits up so they had the routes and thus kept em. Ref the CRJ900 (come to that 200 and 700) you'd definately be in arrestor hook break chute territory but even then you'd have probs with the engine- out climb profile. They could be for the Brum hub though seems to be where BE is concentrating its efforts just now
