the above is correct
Technically, "Thrust Lever Angle" is more correct.

Maintenance use it as a rough guide (considering that on many aircraft types it is just a decal stuck on the thrust quadrant), but TRA (Thrust Resolver Angle) is a better indication of the signal being sent to the engine management system.
