Well, this is a rumours forum. Some of the replys to this are opinions - may be valid, but are they anything more than one person's view?
I've heard rumours of cadet schemes being launched this autumn from another (reliable and well informed) source. It is not illogical; a scheme launched this autumn would mean entering training in 2003 and graduating well into 2004, if not early 2005. Today's problems (for yesterdays graduates) may well be over by then (we all hope). And I'd like to bet that there have been many fewer people commencing training in the last 9 months than normal.
I for one are going to hang on to my cash for a few months - I'd hate to start a course I can only just afford to see a cadet scheme starting a couple of months later. You pays your money and takes a chance.
