Yes I had to work with the first of the prestwick cadets and more that one or two had the attitude that they were the "two winged master race".
As an ground engineer suporting the base training I met quite a few of the cadets and most where very plesant but a few of them I found downright rude and on one training flight I was treated with so much disrespect that the training captain had words with these people.
The "hitler youth" remark was a direct quote from another training captain on another flight when his patence was streched to the limit by the attitude of two of these people.
It was quite apparent that after the first few courses BA must have changed some thing in the recrutment as a marked improvemet in attitude and manners of the cadets that I met when base training.
