Pax figures were okay but at discounted fares, I believe. Most routes usually get at least two seasons so things must have been bad.
The other thing which might have affected repeat bookings is that the product did not come up to scratch on the 757 per comments elsewhere.
Figures were: -
May 3449 - 123 pax 70%
June 5622 - 134 pax 76%
July 5679 - 129 pax 73% *****a poor July figure really******
August 7181 - 156 pax 89%
September 5599 - 137 pax 78%.
I was looking to use the service last year, which meant I kept an eye on the fares and they were certainly not cheap but that was during school holidays although they did drop in June and September. Also what was not known was the full-fare business take-up although it was rumoured to be weak.

The article quoted in the Dublin thread may indicate that AI have come to their senses but that should not stop any hope that AI night re-instate the a stand-alone ATQ-BHX service in the future.
