i do believe that journalistic idiocy is a neccessary evil in the context of Indian Aviation. now, in the trail of an unfortunate accident, there is a chance that some form of logic may appear in a sea of garbage generated by the DGCA and Air India over 30 years. let the Sinha's and Manju's carve out their daily crap, and scare the living daylights out of the masses. this is the only way forward as a catalyst to break a system rotten to the core.

1. an enquiry, led by a no-nonsense air force chap for the accident
2. an empowered management in AI to fire imbeciles who only want a free
lunch, and have yet to put in an honest days work
3. a group to oversee the DGCA's functioning, comprising of Boeing, Airbus,
JAA + CAA reps.
4. a board of directors chosen from the captains of industry to run AI

and, idiots in the press who really prove that there is a method to their madness
