Guys the safety demo is
legally required to be given in the language of the aircraft's registration. So if it's Air Berlin it will be given in German (wherever they are) and if it a Monarch plane it will be given in english and so it goes on....
That said most loco's who are officially "pan european" carriers will also do an announcement in the languages applicable to that flight also....time permitting.
At my lot the foreign tape is usually played whilst the doors are armed prior to push back and the english ones with the actions on pushback/taxi at LGW.
This may be modified downroute if we have a short taxi. We
have to give an english demo wherever we are
