Anyway, call the flow controller in the morning, number in the ERSA, get yourself a slot.
or you can email Airport Co-ordination Australia at [email protected] days ahead of the operation. You need to provide name and phone number of PIC, type & callsign, DEP AD, the slot time you want (landing time), DEP time, destination AD...

Not sure if the RFDS or execujet will let you through or not.
They won't, unless you strike a good samaritan. Note 1 in additional information section of ERSA stipulates that you must use an FBO (HAwkers or Universal) for escort and you must have an ASIC.

Be familiar with using a clearance delivery frequency for departure, the phraseology is different than a normal class c taxi/airways call.
"ABC for Canberra, request clearance" is what you say initially on ACD (callsign Sydney Clearance Delivery). Getting the clearance before engine start is a good idea, ACD will tell you of any delays and give you a start/call back time. Start clearance will be notified by ATIS if in operation, otherwise start clearance is not required.

You need to state Domestic 5 (or wherever parked) when reading back clearance on ACD. (note 1 in local traffic regulations)

If youre taking off from bankstown and going direct to sydney, you have to ring the tower before engine start. Otherwise, just call inbound in the usual class C manner. There are 2 frequencies, one for within 45nm and one beyond from memory. I usually just rang up about 15 miles north of Longreef.
Nothing in ERSA about ringing BK tower, you're supposed to ring Flow Director one hour before operating (note 6.10 in ERSA). I have found this to be a complete waste of time, however, and the flow guy usually has some difficulty figuring out why you called.

Inbound, call SY Terminal 135.1 for allocation of control frequency, within 45 NM.

Report the assigned runway in sight when changed to director as early as possible (assuming you actually have the runway sighted).

Note the traffic holding fuel advisory in ERSA is replaced by NOTAM, you might find 30 mins holding is required even in good weather.

Ask for help if unsure of which way to go when taxying, the taxiway signs can be confusing if you're not used to them. A common taxi route to 16L from domestic 5 is via G, C, cross RWY 25, to holding point B10. Usually they will tell you to call tower on B10 and there is a sign there as well.

From landing 16L to Dom 5, you can expect T, L, B, enter RWY 25 to the right, exit at G4.

Taxiway B is normally Northbound and C is normally Southbound.
