Search button mate. I've already answered these questions before.

Anyway, call the flow controller in the morning, number in the ERSA, get yourself a slot. Usually the middle of the day is best. Landing fee is something like 250 bucks for a C182.

If youre taking off from bankstown and going direct to sydney, you have to ring the tower before engine start. Otherwise, just call inbound in the usual class C manner. There are 2 frequencies, one for within 45nm and one beyond from memory. I usually just rang up about 15 miles north of Longreef.

Clearances will vary, from track direct the field to fly victor 1 OCTA and report at botany bay heads 500 ft. Just follow the clearance it will be very straight forward.

Once close you go onto tower.

Tips. Photocopy the airport layout page of the ERSA / DAP to a larger size. Know what taxiways are northbound and which are southbound (or east/west bound). You will be parking in Domestic 5 so look at likely taxi routes and research them against the taxiing requirements in the ERSA.

You will most likely land on the northern runway (16L 34R) and take off on the southern runway.

Know when to change onto ground frequency. Eg, if you land on 34R, then you stay on tower until past the Sierra taxiway etc (could be fuzzie on details, been a while).

The security people are no longer able to let you through the gate (gate 9?) at domestic 5 so you have to go through the main gate. Its a bit of a walk. Not sure if the RFDS or execujet will let you through or not.

Be familiar with using a clearance delivery frequency for departure, the phraseology is different than a normal class c taxi/airways call.

Know what your plan is on departure.

Oh and have fun. Its a fairly easy airport to operate into and out of as long as you do your homework.
