It is unfortunate that 50 odd CRJ pilots have lost there jobs, but if is wasnt them it would of been 50 odd turbo prop guys/gals.
Why is it that a new company would have to pay for all the retraining when they have most of the required crew alredy operating.
T-bone, I myself would be looking very hard at your decision. As I understand if you do not agree to the EA (no B as there was no bargaining) then you can probably kiss the airline good by for good. Yes it may go back to the Administrator for the next bidder (if they are still around), but chances are that they will be offering worse of conditions and the same gripes about retraining as AWA have.
I have freinds who have lost their jobs and it is upsetting, but for the future of REX everyone has to try and take the positives and make it a good solid Job for the future.
