I was a FO for AA. i had a good time. besides carrying all the food, 3 in 1 coffee and Milo i could carry for the day. my 80+hrs per month of flying was ok.. not so tiring, you get use to the quick turnarounds (15-20mins), Company EXPECTS 20mins...it depends how quick your cabin crew can off load and embark your pax. and how fast your FO can complete his loadsheet, W&B, FMC and cockpit workout.
The worst thing.. I experience as a FO, was that i was getting paid less than a cabin crew.. as mention above FO get approx 6000rm for 75-80hrs Most cabin crew at that time was getting 8000rm..(tax free- because there salary is only 1000rm below taxable rate)
Ok they where doing some overnight stops..but 6000rm for 80hrs and doing so much work...it a insult..OK.. I needed to get that off my chest...
