To put some context to this, I was recently told that one major airline has, in the vicinity of, 3000 crew stranded around the world, some as Flyblue said for up to 10 days, some that flew out Thurs morning expecting to be back that day.
Similarly loco crew who do not overnight stop are stuck away from base, possibly having to purchase clothes etc.
