Someone must have started up a new outfit called Sensitive Airways while my back was turned

I should clarify for the pedants that when I said my friends flew there, I didn't actually mean THERE, as in Sunexpress. So the Euro comment still applies for other carriers. I don't take issue with anything else space pig says, it's an informative post. I would make the added point that it's not all about the money in Turkey, though - there are carriers with different standards, and different chances of paying what they owe you at the end of the month, and Sunexpress are one of the top tier carriers in those 2 regards.
And I should have said SOME Chinese carriers, rather than having to point out to de facto the Dollar was at 1.50 to the Euro last December rather than the 1.34 of today. If we knew what the Dollar was going to do, we would all have paid manservants writing these posts.
You takes your choice and you get paid as much as the particular market will bear. One Captain I know is now flying and getting paid having not been able to get a job since the Spanish carrier he had been flying with went tits-up a year and a half ago. Everything is relative, friends. Before we go banging on about how much it isn't, could we not look forward to rates going up because the available pilots are being soaked up in a market with demand such as Turkey, please? That has a far better effect on rates than posting on prune.
