being a joint venture between Lufthansa and Turkish airlines, Sun Express has, like Lufthansa ,amongst other things, the requirement for DLR tests. The failure rate has historically been high(around 75 % for Fo, 50% Capt.)
If you fail you are out and that also ruins your chances with other companies that use the DLR tests as the results wil stay in the DLR data base.
Preparation for the test is partly possible, but costly, and preparation for the psychological part is not possible. You either fit in their profile or not.
The job is not a commuting job, you will have to live there and your base will likely be istanbul SAW(growing base). That is not the istanbul ataturk airport where all the european airlines fly to, and lies on the asian side, so very dificult to impossible to connect to a connecting flight home as the traffic between asian and european side is very heavy.
You will fly close to 1000 hrs a year and will have little time off.Roster consists of nightflights to europe and a lot of domestic flights to ill equiped airports .
The salary is not paid in Euro but Turkish lira and allthough salary is netto, there is no per diem nor pension.
Turkey is not europe and you will have to adapt to a different culture which can test your patience regulary.
Allthough B737 typerating is not mandatory, it is recommended and you will need to have time on similar type of aircraft and 1500 PIC on similar type or B737.
Currently pilots are leaving as other Turkish airlines have better Terms and conditions
Goodluck but stay realistic
