That is because they are pilots. I started my training in late 2007 and by early 2008 based on what some of the veterans were saying here I stopped my training before I had invested my lifes savings. Back then I recall many people in your position saying the same thing. PPRuNe has saved me both a fortune and a lifetimes heartache. I fly for fun only. Maybe when there are real signs of life ( not hope ) in cockpit recruitment and people are not paying airlines to be pilots the WWW“s of this PPRune world will be less " negative ".
